I have attended coaching seminars delivered by some of the world's best coaches including: David Leadbetter, Mike Hebron, Martin Hall, Dave Peltz and many others. My philosophy is to keep the game as easy and enjoyable as possible, paying great attention to developing basic fundamentals and understanding the ball flight laws.

Michael Pilgrim - Head Professional

I became the Club Professional at Teesside Golf Club on 05 November 2022, having been the Club Professional at Bishop Auckland Golf Club for the last 12 years. I started playing golf as a youngster at Dinsdale Spa Golf Club and then turned Professional in 2001 and was the Head Assistant at Seaton Carew Golf Club for 6 years. In 2008, I became one of the senior Teaching Professionals at the Ingleby Barwick Golf Academy. My goals, as the Club Professional here at Teesside, are to offer the best customer service possible along with my vast knowledge (accumulated over 20 years in the industry) in club custom fitting and teaching to all members and guests.
